It was something of a relief to turn over the calendar to a new month this morning. January was full of dark and grey days and, in spite of it being my birthday month, I struggled. Then came the rain and snow of February, and it felt as though winter would never end. Spring always …

Oh autumn, how I love thee… The bounty in the hedgerows, that amazing light as the sun begins its descent in the sky, and that slight chill in the air that makes you begin to think about log fires and big bowls of veggie-packed stews and soups. There is no doubt that 2020 has been …

How crazy is it that we are in June already? Utter How crazy is it that we are in June already? Utter madness... This year is certainly rushing by.

June is a huge month for me as I release my third highly illustrated younger Middle Grade book, Nero the Hero. This is the first book in my new series, and it is such a milestone for me on a personal level. I truly cannot wait to share this charming story with you.

I will be at Old Hall Farm in Woodton on 7 June and the Foreword Festival in Eye on 20 June. Aside from that, this month will be spent developing several projects, completing a biography, celebrating the birthdays of two of my closest friends, and making sure I rest enough around all the goings on.

What are you up to this month? Please do let me know. Have a wonderful time, whatever you are up to.
