I had great fun this morning as I was interview by a group of Year 6 pupils as part of their World Book Day celebrations.
I went to university with the form’s teacher, Mrs Gresty, and the class at the Hollins Grundy school in Bury had some great questions! These ranged from have I always wanted to be an author to how long it took me to write Sandstorm and even was I really Mrs Gresty’s friend!
It was great to be able to talk to the next generation of budding writers and share my tips – including to never leave the house without a notebook. The feedback from the session was very enthusiastic, and I must thank Vicky (Mrs Gresty) for organising it!
If you would like to speak to me about my writing life, then please get in touch.
