Just a reminder that I will be back in Burnham Mar Just a reminder that I will be back in Burnham Market this Saturday, 15 November, in The Old Pharmacy for the Christmas Light Switch On! You will find me and the Magical Mister Mishkins series in the town's original apothecary from 10-5.30 next Saturday, where I will also be selling Mister Mishkins' 2026 calendars, Jigfoot by Moongazer Tales, and even Sandstorm under my pen name Adelaide Halsey alongside Mister Mishkins' Apothecary and The Magic of Mister Mishkins. Today is World Kindness Day. But I want to know - Today is World Kindness Day. But I want to know - what does kindness mean to you? What does it look like? Does it have a particular feeling or voice? Kindness can be so many things. A smile to someone, sending a card in the post, offering a hug, through to taking over elements of peoples' lives when they are struggling - walking the dog, doing the shopping, or taking them to places they need to be when they don't know how to ask. And then, there is the self-kindness. That little voice in our heads that we listen to a bit too much when things aren't going as we feel that they should. That pushing of our selves when we are already exhausted. Sometimes, we need to remember to be kind to ourselves, too. Be kind, not just on World Kindness Day, but every day. Even the smallest of things can make the biggest difference. Samantha xx
