In October, I travelled to the historical country of Jordan, home to six UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Oh my goodness, how did we end up here already? I Oh my goodness, how did we end up here already? I cannot believe today is 1 June; this year is utterly flying by. What do you love most about this month? For me, it's bumblebees buzzing lazily around the nectar, the perfume of roses drifting on the breeze, blackbirds announcing the arrival of dawn at 3.30am - at least, I think I like that one! - and the promise of midsummer wishes. Go gently, go kindly, and make it a good one. Samantha xx

Oh, it's been a fun few weeks. I haven't been fe Oh, it's been a fun few weeks. I haven't been feeling my best, far from it. As anyone who is self-employed will know, this is your worst nightmare. Thankfully, I have incredibly supportive friends and family, plus I've had this one by my side to keep an eye on me and give me cuddles. I am resting like I have never rested before, all in a bid to feel better. And I have been speaking with the wonderfully insightful and brilliant @suethomaswellbeing who has not only worked out what is going on when the doctors told me to come back next month, but has me on the best of things to help me feel better. My long weekend will be spent with @magicalmistermishkins and doing as little as possible. Sometimes, your body forces you to listen, and this is definitely one of those times.

Today marks twenty years since my precious nanna p Today marks twenty years since my precious nanna passed away. She died just two days short of her 94th birthday, and I still keenly feel her absence. I still wish I could have just one more conversation with her. Just five more minutes. One more cup of tea. One more smile and a cheeky giggle. I just wish for one more… But we all know that one more would never be enough.
